The Youth Activities Centre (THE YAC) is a multi-purpose space that can be used for many things such as music and drama productions, concerts, movie screenings, training, forums, workshops, classes (e.g. yoga), family events, etc and has often been used as an alternative space for wet weather plans for outdoor festivals.

The Cottage is home to regular BYS activities including girls and boys groups, weekly drop-in activities and special events. It can be hired by community members and groups for workshops, meetings, kids parties or other functions. The Cottage is situated in the centre of Mullumbimby
